Role Overview

An established inspection agency is seeking a qualified Mechanical Inspector to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will perform independent inspections, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and support quality assurance across mechanical works including pressure vessels, piping, and structural components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections of pressure vessels, piping, structural and related mechanical works.

• Execute inspection plans and follow approved procedures and checklists.

• Carry out NDT witness and verification activities as required and coordinate with testing teams.

• Review drawings and specifications to verify conformity with project requirements.

• Prepare clear inspection reports and nonconformance reports with recommended corrective actions.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve inspection findings.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Engineering background in Mechanical or a relevant discipline.

• CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent certification — mandatory.

• 3 to 5 years’ relevant inspection experience.

• Proven experience with pressure vessels, piping, or structural mechanical works preferred.

• Valid Kuwait local transfer eligibility and driving licence — mandatory.

• Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

Salary and Benefits

• Minimum salary: 500 KWD.

• Higher salary may be offered depending on interview performance and experience.
