Mechanical Engineer required in Kuwait (Urgent Hiring)

Immediate Requirement

Sinohydro (PowerChina) is urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead MEP design coordination and approval processes for major infrastructure projects in Kuwait.

• Lead and coordinate mechanical and MEP design activities
• Manage submissions and approvals with relevant authorities
• Review and prepare mechanical engineering drawings and technical documents
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Support infrastructure projects involving pipelines, tanks, and pump stations
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait regulatory standards and project specifications
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support throughout execution

 Minimum 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience

 Strong experience in obtaining MEP approvals

 Priority will be given to candidates with experience dealing with:

• Ministry of Housing approvals
• Kuwait governmental authorities
• Regional engineering standards and regulations

 Proficiency in:

• AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• BIM / Revit (Preferred)

 Experience with:

• MEW pipelines
• TSE pipelines
• TSE tanks
• Pump rooms and associated mechanical systems

 Strong technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills

 Immediate joiners are highly preferred

 Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

 Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale construction projects

 Familiarity with Kuwait approval procedures and technical standards

 Strong communication and project coordination abilities
