Logistics & Customs Clearance Officer Required in Kuwait

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics & Customs Clearance Officer to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customs clearance, import/export operations, and logistics coordination within Kuwait.

The Logistics & Customs Clearance Officer will be responsible for coordinating customs clearance activities, managing import and export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate shipment documentation. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, customs authorities, shipping companies, and internal teams.

• Coordinate customs clearance activities for import and export shipments
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait customs regulations and government requirements
• Prepare, review, and verify shipping and customs clearance documentation
• Liaise with clients, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport providers
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely progress updates
• Resolve customs and logistics-related issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate logistics records and operational documentation
• Support daily logistics, transportation, and clearance operations
• Ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery to customers

2–3 years of experience in logistics and customs clearance

 Bachelor's Degree in:

• Logistics
• Supply Chain Management
• Business Administration
• Related Field (Preferred)

 Strong knowledge of:

• Import & Export Procedures
• Customs Clearance Processes
• Shipping Documentation
• Freight Operations
• Kuwait Customs Regulations

 Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

 Strong organizational and documentation skills

 Attention to detail and accuracy

 Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment

 Experience working with freight forwarding or logistics companies

 Knowledge of shipping lines and customs systems

 Coordination with government authorities and customs brokers

 Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
