Accountant job in Kuwait

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Salmiya. This role is ideal for finance professionals who can manage daily accounting operations while ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily financial activities, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with Kuwaiti tax laws and IFRS standards.

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and month-end closing processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports with accuracy and compliance
• Maintain and improve internal controls and support audit requirements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait tax regulations and IFRS standards
• Monitor financial transactions and maintain proper documentation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification (CPA / CMA) is preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the finance or accounting field

• Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
