Senior Accountant Needed in Kuwait

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization's financial objectives.

The Senior Accountant will manage and supervise day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and budgeting functions. This role requires strong expertise in SAP, financial controls, reporting, and general ledger management, along with the ability to work independently and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Perform general ledger reviews and account reconciliations

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Verify and process financial transactions accurately
• Maintain proper supporting documentation for all accounting activities

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting
• Provide management with financial insights and recommendations

• Process and manage accounting transactions through SAP
• Ensure data accuracy and system integrity
• Generate financial reports and accounting information using SAP

• Ensure adherence to local accounting regulations and company procedures
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements

 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field

 Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience

 Strong experience in:

• Financial Reporting

• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Financial Analysis
• SAP Accounting Systems

 Knowledge of:

• Local accounting practices
• Regulatory requirements
• Financial controls and compliance procedures

• Microsoft Office Applications

 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

 High level of integrity and professionalism

 Effective communication and reporting skills

 Ability to work independently and manage accounting functions efficiently

 Strong organizational and time-management skills

 Must be currently residing in Kuwait
