Design Engineer – Mechanical (Metal Fabrication)

A leading Metal Fabrication Company in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, sheet metal fabrication, and manufacturing processes.

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and shop drawings.
• Develop accurate 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Create manufacturing drawings for production teams.
• Prepare production details and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with estimation, production, and project departments.
• Modify and update drawings based on client and production requirements.
• Ensure designs meet fabrication standards and project specifications.
• Support the manufacturing team with technical solutions.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong experience with:
  • SolidWorks
  • AutoCAD
  • Mechanical design software
• Experience in stainless steel and metal fabrication is preferred.
• Good understanding of:
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • Welding processes
  • Manufacturing methods
  • Fabrication drawings
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
