Job Vacancy: Site Supervisor – HV Substations (Electrical)
Job Description
A company in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee the installation and erection works of High Voltage (HV) Substations across Kuwait.
Job Responsibilities:- Supervise installation and erection activities for HV substations.
- Manage daily site operations and coordinate with project teams.
- Monitor electrical equipment installation and ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate work related to:
- GIS Substations
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Cable Installation
- Electrical Equipment
- Review construction drawings and ensure proper execution.
- Coordinate multiple site activities and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and project requirements.
- Prepare site progress reports and provide technical support.
✅ Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in HV substation erection projects.
✅ Experience with:
- 400kV / 300kV Substations
- 132kV Substations
- 33kV / 11kV / 0.415kV Systems
✅ Kuwait project experience preferred:
- MEW / MEWRE
- PAHW
- KOC
- KNPC
- Similar electrical infrastructure projects
✅ Strong knowledge of electrical systems and HV equipment.
✅ Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
✅ Strong leadership and communication skills.
✅ Valid Kuwait driving license is an advantage.
Salary: 400 KD
