Job Vacancy: Safety Officer / HSE Supervisor

A reputed company in Kuwait is looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer / HSE Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards across facility maintenance and construction activities.

• Prepare, implement, and submit HSE plans and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with client HSE teams and site management.
• Promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.
• Supervise site activities including:
  • Electrical maintenance
  • Mechanical works
  • Firefighting systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Low and high voltage maintenance
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, unsafe practices, and safety violations.
• Ensure proper availability and usage of PPE.
• Monitor compliance with company safety policies and Kuwait HSE regulations.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and inspection documents.

✅ Must be currently residing in Kuwait.
✅ Valid transferable residency required.
✅ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
✅ Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in facility maintenance or construction projects.
✅ Good knowledge of:

• Electrical systems
• Mechanical systems
• Firefighting systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Safety procedures and standards

• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct safety training and inspections.
• Good understanding of HSE practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage site safety activities.
