Hiring Safety Engineer (HSE) for Kuwait
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Safety Engineer (HSE) to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices, risk management, and workplace safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct HSE inductions and safety training for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Perform regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work (PTW) systems and safety procedures.
- Monitor workplace safety standards and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate third-party inspections for lifting accessories and fire extinguishers.
- Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE/Safety experience.
- Mandatory NEBOSH IGC certification.
- Additional safety certifications will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and safety management systems.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Valid transferable Kuwait residency required.
