Job Vacancy: Network Engineer (Immediate Hiring)

A well-reputed company in Kuwait is urgently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join its IT team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, firewall management, server administration, and virtualization technologies. This role involves maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing network systems while providing technical support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime and security.
• Configure and troubleshoot network switches, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall policies.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize network efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and security updates.
• Maintain network documentation, system configurations, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar IT role.
• Strong experience with configuring and managing network switches and firewalls.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Active Directory, and network security concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft, VMware, or Fortinet are an added advantage.
