Role Overview

Experienced Calibration Technicians are required to support calibration activities across instruments and site measuring devices. The role focuses on accurate calibration, routine maintenance of test equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of electrical, mechanical, and process instruments using standard procedures.

• Operate various calibrators and site measuring instruments including multimeters, pressure calibrators, temperature calibrators, and loop calibrators.

• Execute calibration procedures and record results in calibration logs and certificates.

• Verify instrument accuracy and adjust or repair instruments within scope.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory reference standards and ensure traceability.

• Support on‑site calibration activities at client locations and production areas.

• Raise nonconformance reports and recommend corrective actions for out‑of‑tolerance instruments.

• Assist with internal audits and implement corrective/preventive actions related to calibration.

• Maintain calibration schedules and ensure timely completion of planned calibrations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in calibration practices and instrument handling.

• Familiarity with operating common calibrators and site measuring instruments.

• Past experience in a calibration laboratory is an advantage.

• Knowledge of ISO standards related to calibration and quality management.

• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel for reporting and record keeping.

• Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.

• Willingness to work on site and travel to client locations when required.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.

• Calibration or metrology certification is a plus.

• Experience with calibration management software or CMMS is advantageous.

• Basic troubleshooting and minor repair skills for field instruments.

• Strong documentation skills and ability to produce clear calibration certificates.
