Application & Database Support Engineer – Kuwait

A reputed company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Application & Database Support Engineer to manage database administration, application support, system integrations, and performance optimization across enterprise applications.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases.
• Develop advanced SQL queries and T-SQL scripts.
• Create and maintain Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Views.
• Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Manage database backup, restore, and maintenance plans.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Support and troubleshoot HL7 messaging (ADT, ORU) and healthcare system integrations.
• Perform application troubleshooting across UI, middleware, and database layers.
• Analyze and resolve end-to-end system issues.
• Monitor interfaces and resolve integration errors.
• Test and validate APIs using Postman.
• Design and develop Crystal Reports using SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Develop and maintain PHP-based applications when required.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

✅ 3–4 years of experience in Application & Database Support.
✅ Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
✅ Expertise in:

• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• T-SQL Programming
• Database Design & Optimization
• Backup & Restore
• Performance Tuning
• Indexing & Query Optimization

✅ Experience with:

• RESTful API Development & Integration
• HL7 Messaging (ADT, ORU)
• API Testing using Postman
• Crystal Reports Development
• PHP Scripting

✅ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
✅ Ability to work across multi-tier enterprise applications and database environments.
